Congratulations and welcome to the Australian Waze editing community! :) You'll find this a very warm and welcoming place where we want to see your editing skills grow as you continue to edit the Waze map. Before you start editing though, there are some absolute essentials that you MUST read:
https://wazeopedia.waze.com/wiki/Global/Waze_Map_Editor/Welcome
https://wazeopedia.waze.com/wiki/Global/Waze_Map_Editor
https://wazeopedia.waze.com/wiki/Global/Best_map_editing_practice
https://wazeopedia.waze.com/wiki/USA/Edits_to_avoid
https://wiki.waze.com/wiki/Your_Rank_and_Points
https://wazeopedia.waze.com/wiki/Global/Places
Yes, we know, there's a lot of reading. But it is critical to ensure any edits you make IMPROVE the map and don't DAMAGE it.
After reading the points and levels link above, you'll realise there are roads and places that are locked at a higher level than you and cannot be edited. This is not to say you should not edit them; they can be unlocked to your level in a controlled fashion by posting in the state channels here on Discord or the Australian unlock forums here https://www.waze.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=406.
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask in the #general channel. We are all here to help and there are no stupid questions. Thanks again for joining us! :D
