Narrow Street Discussion
Discuss the Australian guidelines for Narrow Roads and when to use them.
Initially suggested that following be considered for evaluating whether to implement a narrow road:
- Must be permanently restricted (via buildings or other features) to one direction of flow of traffic at one time, but remain a bidirectional segment. That is, cars cannot safely pass each other driving in opposite directions without pulling off the road.
- Must be a gazetted road, not private or parking.
