Subj: Welcome to Waze editing in Illinois!

I was working on the map and happened across some of your edits. You're off to a good start.
Hello -

As you start, it is a good idea to have an experienced editor check your work. Other editors can easily be reached by opening the chat window in the lower right of the Waze Map Editor (WME) page. Editors who are Level 4 and 5 would be the best for mentoring.

It is a good idea to have an experienced editor check your work as you begin. Other editors can easily be reached by opening the chat window in the lower right of the Waze Map Editor (WME) page. Our local Area Managers (AM) and State Manager (SM) along with level 4 and 5 editors are a great resources.

You can direct a message at a particular editor in chat by prefixing "@" to their name. Often editors will have a tool installed to alert them to such messages. For instance, you could direct a chat message to me by entering "@MYNAME hello."

We all seem to start editing with parking lots, parking lot roads (PLR), red roads, rail roads, trails, and places. Reviewing the info on these will be useful.
