Waze Map Editor Chat

Some things to know about WME chat. It is a way to chat right in the editor. When collaborating with other editors on an edit it can be used to pan/jump to where the other editor is. If you reload the WME session you will loose all chat history.

Waze Forum

Waze Forum is a way to converse with other Waze users and is less volatile than WME Chat. History is saved. You can use open forums or Private Message (PM). PM works a lot like email.

Slack

A great way for editors to chat.
There are 2 Waze Slack teams (groups)
General Team http://waze.slack.com/
MapRaid Team http://wazemapraid.slack.com/

Only WazeMapRaid Slack

--Update-- We will be using the wazemapraid team above for the Mega Raid, not the one below

This team no longer exists. It has been deleted.

  • Improving routing and navigation within the designated area quickly and efficiently.
  • Improve the map quickly and significantly.
  • Solve / respond User Reports.
  • Updating pending “Places” faster.
