Our GPS points layer in WME is based on aggregated and anonymous Waze data from the mobile client in order to help you to improve the map and solve map issues, while also respecting our users privacy. The GPS layer is scheduled to update weekly, so depending on the volume of traffic and our merger process it could take up to around two weeks for GPS points to appear for a new road. Also the age of GPS points could depend on traffic volumes and the data retention policy of GPS location data (similar to data on the Editable Areas and Drives tabs), so data from the GPS layer could be a few months old.
