In WME on a flat map we assign Elevations to show that while the roads cross, they do not connect because they are at different heights (or grades). For example, if the angle at which a local road meets a highway is 20 degrees, Waze will instruct a user turning off the highway to "EXIT RIGHT" (assuming right hand drive countries).
