* Suppressing a "real" navigation instruction that comes immediately after the Continue, so that it issues as a last-minute surprise;
* Contradicting signage for such an instruction, for example by declaring that one must continue even as one passes signs advising of the required exit;
* Confusing drivers by issuing what
appears to be a superfluous instruction, especially when no other course is possible; and
* Distracting drivers with low-priority information when they would prefer to attend to other things, particularly if a nearby instruction already provides sufficient navigation guidance.
