Alleys

Alleys may be mapped if any of the following is true:

  • They are needed for residential access (e.g. one or more rear-entry garages or the primary access to a residence is on the alley)
  • The primary access to a business is via the alley

Alleys should be marked as Parking Lot Road and named "Alley", with the appropriate city selected per usual.

Roundabout Speed Limits

Indiana deviates from the GLR/National standard here. The Indiana policy is to set the speed limit to the lowest speed limit among the feeder roads for the roundabout
