Guidelines are specific to each country supporting Formal Mentoring, and are established by the Global Champ(s) sponsoring the Mentoring program in that country. You can find the guidelines specific to your country on your countries Formal Mentoring page.

The USA has dedicated a lot of time and effort to establish thorough guidelines, which can be referenced by other countries, if they wish, when formulating their own guidelines.
