This page is intended to inform map editors on what is being worked on or is completed in the State of Oregon, as well as what is planned according to ODOT or other cities as we find out about them. The last section has transportation and highway resource links for the state.
As of creation of this page, there are two primary active area managers that either have all or a majority of Oregon in their editing permissions. If you have any questions, or need guidance, please feel free to contact them.
Please remember to follow all standards of editing, documented in this wiki. By marking a project complete, you are stating that the work was done following the standard set down by the community (or as best as possible in case where scenarios don't fit any of the standards documented).

Due to the subjective nature of the descriptions on how to apply Minor Highway and Major Highway road types, in Oregon, we will, in general, use Major Highway for US routes and Minor Highway for Oregon routes and highways. There are some notable exceptions to this:
- US-26 in the Portland area changes to Freeway type because it is a full limited access road built to interstate standards for several miles in the metro area
- OR217 in Portland/Beaverton/Tigard is build to interstate standards and is typed as a Freeway for its entire length.

This section contains details about road closures currently in place in Waze, usually through disconnecting of segments to prevent Waze from routing along a certain stretch of road. If you perform a closure in Waze, please document it here so other area managers can ensure the roads are reconnected at the appropriate time.

Future New or Realigned Roads
Large road construction projects often have website project pages and give notice to the public prior to starting. If we stage these roads in Waze and have them ready to deploy when they open to the public, Waze will be a leader in update map providers.

|OR213 @ I-205 Jughandle Project||Spring 2011/Winter 2012||Project functionally complete. Waze map updated July/August 2012.|
|US20 Pioneer Mountain to Eddyville||Phase 2: 2015||ODOT is bypassing a winding section of existing US20. This project has been on-going since at least 2007. There have been several delays, including landslides and bridge supports being bent, or going out-of-plumb after installation.
As of June 25, 2012 the project is back underway with a new low-bid contractor. The previously planned bridges are planned to become large box culverts instead, due to the soil instability.
|I-5 at Del Rio Rd||Sep 2012||Project functionally complete mid-September 2012. Waze map updated September 20, 2012 by AlanOfTheBerg
NOTES: The new Del Rio Rd in place, overpass, ramps, realigned OR99 and updated Exit information and turn restrictions. I am unsure as to naming of former Del Rio Rd, nor where it terminates. Unsure if there are any intersections with previous private roads and new Del Rio Rd.
ODOT will replace the Del Rio bridge over I-5 at the Winchester Interchange (Exit 129). All ramps for Exit 129 will move and Del Rio Rd and OR99 will be realigned.
