Projects
- Script support and edits - Added New York and Canada sub tabs for OOM(Open Other Maps) script to simplify and decongest views by the large volume of external map links in those regions.
- Hutchinson River Parkway renumbering project - built relationship with NYS DOT Public relations team and DOT region 8 and 9 Engineering team to be including as part of DOT team and vendor communications and led efforts within Waze to renumber the HRP in sync with the DOT and vendor teams
- NYC address search issues on streets with disharmonized naming - conducted a project identifying that a mix of primary an secondary city names on same named streets in NYC was causing HN misdirection, resulting in harmonizing long NYC roadways manifesting in clearing up HN issues. (mentored and guided on project by volud2) - April 2020
- Chair NYC Ninjas Group - Lead efforts among active senior NYC editors to resolve issues, manage UR and PUR count, manage MTE's, and address various NYC specific issues; communicate with staff on roadclosure issues, and establish relationships with NYC DOT and NYPD. NYC Open streets was an example of great success for us on this where I bult and cultivated a direct relationship with the NYC DOT staffer responsible for the project and we were able to get the NYC Ninjas team well informed and proactive on Open Streets issues.
