In the Waze Map Editor, the appearance of a point place reflects its status.
The standard Point marker has changed. Previously it was a single purple circle with a white border no matter which type of place it indicated. Since [date] it was changed to colors that correspond to the category to which the marker is assigned. As shown below a Car Services marker can indicate any of 4 different types of places.
You must zoom in to at least zoom level 20 in order to see the stylized icon that represents the specific type of place represented.
