TowerFire36 is a Level 5 Waze senior editor based out of Iowa, born and raised in the tri-state area of IA/SD/NE. He is currently the State Manager for Iowa, but started as an editor mainly for all of IA, the East River area of SD, and the Northeast area of NE along with the Omaha Metro area. He was also a small Area Manager for Northeast Missouri for a while. At times, you can also find him regularly editing around the Hampton Roads, VA / Yuma, AZ / San Diego, CA / SeaTac and Olympic Penninsula, WA areas as well.

Originally, TowerFire36 joined Waze and became a Waze editor simply to help monitor and help add/change/delete road closures at Big Sioux River crossings along the IA/SD border that were often ignored by local agencies. This caused many headaches for locals and travelers alike trying to cross state lines during flooding events. He has since become a very active editor and contributor and really enjoys making meaningful and progressive changes to the navigation experience for drivers in the areas he travels.

Being a lifelong member of the public safety community in the tri-state area of IA/SD/NE, TowerFire36 has maintained partnership contact with countless agencies across all three states. He has also established partnership contact with several other agencies, including several new Iowa DOT Regional Engineering Offices, the Iowa Traffic Incident Management Center, Iowa State Patrol, several Sheriff's Offices and Police Departments across the state, and local event committees. He is also a Traffic Incident Management System instructor for the State of Iowa DPS, and a fire service and law enforcement instructor for the State of Iowa - giving him the direct face-to-face ability to advocate the abilities of Waze to assist passively during emergency situations and also to develop preventative measures by recommending local agencies notify Waze local editors of upcoming closures, traffic pattern changes, and events that could affect traffic around specific locations.
