This page is an overview on how to map out colleges and universities in the United States. There are many colleges throughout the country and they come in many different sizes. Rules for places follows the naming criteria for the following list:

Whole university is marked as an area

Individual buildings are marked as a point

Roads are mapped as normal roads

Parking lots are marked as an area

Stadiums are marked as a point
