The state of Vermont has 255 municipalities. This includes 237 towns, nine cities, five unincorporated areas, and four gores.
Census Designated Places (CDPs) and unincorporated towns or communities should NOT be listed in the city field for map features. If any city, or town names not in the lists above are encountered on road segments or places, please remove them.
