The topic above (the first one) is locked. Where is the right place to discuss this page? In the section Places#When_to_use_Area_or_Point I did not understand why use point when the area is known. This seems stupid because area is always more precise than point, and when you define an area you can set the "main spot / entry" as a point. Well, also, if this rule should be really followed, why not just set point / area automatically after setting the category on WME? Thank you. --Hatzemberg (talk) 18:06, 13 February 2015 (UTC)

:Yeah I agree.. seems very stupid though. area is much more acurate than point. what is the purpose of having an area if you are push to use a point?? ---Andylaode 07:51, 05 March 2015 (UTC)

Question

The topic above (the first one) is locked. Where is the right place to discuss this page? In the section Places#When_to_use_Area_or_Point I did not understand why use point when the area is known. This seems stupid because area is always more precise than point, and when you define an area you can set the "main spot / entry" as a point. Well, also, if this rule should be really followed, why not just set point / area automatically after setting the category on WME? Thank you. --Hatzemberg (talk) 18:06, 13 February 2015 (UTC)
