This is a documentation subpage for Template:LocalGuidance.
It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This template is added to pages to indicate there are possibly localized instructions that may override some of the instructions on the page.

Usage

Place {{LocalGuidance}} on the page either before the first section heading, or close to the section with content that may be different for specific areas.

The page name in the template will automatically determine that name of the page on which it is placed.

Parameters

link

Optional page name parameter to point to a specific page rather than the default Local vs global guidance. Use |link=WIKI PAGE NAME.

Example

{{LocalGuidance|link=Specific state rules}}
