Bridges
Bridges that are important for orientation and are regularly used in communication about, for example, road closures - can be added to the map. This can be done as Places and also via the street name.
Plaats
Een Brug is een plaats in de categorie Vervoer.
As a standard, rivers and canals are drawn continuously, without stopping and starting before and after a crossing road. This gives the best visual result in the app.
A bridge place is optional. It is not necessary to create a bridge place for roads that cross rivers and canals. Use a Bridge place where multiple roads use one bridge to cross a river of canal. Without the Bridge place the app will show water between the roads, with the bridge it also looks like one bridge.
But sometimes a bridge isn't displayed in the app and water is still showing under the Bridge place area.
Straatnaam
De naam van een Brug kan in de straatnaam van het betreffende wegsegment gezet worden. De brugnaam is dan zichtbaar en hoorbaar in de app.
- Liever geen segmenten splitsen vlak voor een afrit voor het maken van een apart brugsegment.
- Wanneer de brugnaam afwijkt van de straatnaam mogen er geen huisnummers gekoppeld zijn.
- Geen aparte brugplaats meer nodig wanneer de breedte van de brug hier hiervoor geen aanleiding geeft.
