Freeways New maximum speed
Per March 16th 2020 the speed limit on Dutch freeways changes. During daytime - between 06:00 and 19:00 - the speed limit will be 100 km/h on all freeways. During evening and night - between 19:00 and 06:00 - a higher limit might be applicable: the maximum speed from before March 16th. Dependent on the traject this might be 120 or 130 km/h.
At this moment it is only possible to link one speed limit per road segment. So, it is not yet possible to work with different speed limits for daytime and evening/night. We discussed the situation with Waze HQ. Waze HQ will make time dependent speed limits soon available.
For now we will not change the speed limits on the freeway segments.
