Plaats categorieën

De Plaats categorieën die in Waze worden gebruikt, zijn niet altijd direct bruikbaar bij ons, omdat de categorieën voor wereldwijde toepassing zijn. Op dit moment is het niet mogelijk om deze categorieën aan te passen aan de lokale gebruiken. Waze heeft verschillende hoofdcategorieën, waaronder een groot aantal subcategorieën.

Als je een hoofdcategorie kiest binnen de WME, krijg je automatisch de subcategorieën te zien waaruit je kunt kiezen. Het is ook mogelijk om direct een subcategorie in te typen. Als je geen toepasselijke subcategorie kunt vinden, gebruikt je alleen de hoofdcategorie. Categorieën die een speciale behandeling vereisen, worden in dit gedeelte kort beschreven. Een volledige lijst vindt je hieronder. Het vermeldt ook de categorieën die beschikbaar zijn in de app voor direct zoeken.
Dit overzicht bevat de categorieën die worden gebruikt voor de Waze Plaatsen. Hier en daar met voorbeelden en waar van toepassingh het vergrendelingsniveau. Ook is er een indicatie voor het gebruik van een Punt of een Area-plaats. Area-plaatsen moeten een minimale oppervlakte van 500 m2 hebben (bijv. 50m x 10m) om zichtbaar te zijn in het display van de app.

For Organisations that have several locations, specify the location after a hyphen, after the general name of the organisation, e.g., UZ Leuven - campus Gasthuisberg.
