===Snelheidcamera===

Deze permanente Flitspalen registreren overtredingen van de [[Speed limit|maximum snelheid]]. Als de flitspaal ook gebruikt wordt om roodlichtovertredingen te registreren moet het cameratype veranderd worden naar Roodlichtcamera.
 
De maximum snelheid van de Flitspaal moet op de maximum snelheid van het wegsegment dat de camera monitort gezet worden. Wanneer je de maximum snelheid leeg laat zal de Flitspaal nooit waarschuwen. Nul is niet Leeg: een maximum snelheid van 0 km/h zorgt ervoor dat de [[Waze app|app]] altijd een waarschuwingsgeluid geeft.
 
===Roodlichtcamera===

Deze permanente Flitspalen registreren het door rood rijden. Deze flitspalen geven altijd een waarschuwing.

===Dummy camera===

Soms staat ergens een dummy Flitspaal. Deze Flitspalen worden soms op de kaart gezet om te voorkomen dat app gebruikers deze camera's rapporteren als echte Flitspalen.
