Berichtdefinitie (Lane Guidance)

* Je krijgt in de [[Waze app|app]] alleen pijlen voor je rijrichting te zien wanneer er ook een instructie is. Dat kan een standaard instructie zijn of een geforceerde instructie ([[Junction_Arrows#Turn_Instruction_Overrides_(Afslaginstructie)|TIO]]). Zonder [[Turn Instructions|turn instructie]] in de [[Waze app|app]] geen pijlen in beeld.
* We houden bij het instellen de pijlen op de borden en op het wegdek aan.
* Wanneer de pijlen op het wegdek afwijken van de pijlen op de borden op dan volgen we de borden. Let op: Pijlen op de weg kunnen bedekt zijn door sneeuw of andere weggebruikers vanwege file.
* De pijlen die de app standaard kiest, kunnen geforceerd worden aangepast. Dat is soms nodig bij kruisingen met schuine hoeken. Maar houd ook dan de pijlen aan die op borden of weg staan. (Als het uiteindelijk een haakse bocht is dan een 90 graden pijl als het een afbuigende afslag is dan een schuine pijl.)
* Zodra er meerdere rijstroken zijn waaruit je moet kiezen om een richting op te gaan, wel LG invoeren.
* Als er één enkele rijstrook is, geen LG invoeren. Ook niet voor [[Ramp|afritten]] op [[Major Highway|MH]] of [[Minor Highway|mH]].
* Zijn er meerdere rijstroken die in dezelfde richting afslaan, dan kun je die wel invoeren.
* Indien niet in alle richtingen pijlen op het wegdek of borden is aangebracht, dan moet dat in [[Waze Map Editor|WME]] wel gebeuren. Rijstroken kunnen niet leeg worden gelaten.
* Rijstroken waar ‘gewoon’ verkeer geen gebruik van kan maken, zoals [[Pedestrian_Boardwalk#Openbaar_vervoer|openbaar vervoer]], worden nog niet ondersteund. In verwarrende gevallen kan het kruispunt aangepast worden om zo’n rijstrook toch te kunnen tonen.
* Een spitsstrook wordt alleen in LG meegenomen in het aantal rijstroken wanneer wordt voldaan aan beide volgende voorwaarden:
** Er is een instructie ingesteld om rechtdoor te gaan om op de snelweg te blijven;
** De spitsstrook ligt aan de linkerkant.
* Als je rechtdoor gaat op een kruising en niet van baan hoeft te wisselen hoeft er geen LG te worden getoond, maar als rechtdoor betekent dat je een snelweg op gaat is een visuele en auditieve waarschuwing op z'n plaats.
* Kruisingen passen we in principe niet aan om de LG te laten werken, tenzij er verwarring kan ontstaan.
* Opslaan van verkeerd ingestelde LG resulteert in geen weergave in de app voor alle rijstroken van het betreffende segment. In WME zie je een uitroepteken op de junction node, en als je het LG menu opent, een uitroepteken bij de rijstrook waar het niet klopt.
* [[File:LG-NL-003.png|right|270px]] In [[Waze Map Editor|WME]] zie je ook uitroeptekens in de rijstroken als de node waar je de LG van bekijkt (ver) uit beeld is. Die verschijnen weer als de node weer in beeld komt.
* Niet alle pijlen zoals ze in Nederland op de weg voorkomen zijn beschikbaar in het LG menu. Kies de best passende.
* Het [[WME LaneTools Dev]] script maakt het instellen van de LG een stukje eenvoudiger, op de kaart is dan ook direct te zien dat LG is ingesteld.

We follow as much as possible the arrows on the signs and on the road surface.
When the arrows on the road surface deviate from the arrows on the signs, we follow the signs.
The arrows that the app chooses by default can be overruled, which is sometimes necessary with complex intersections. But also then keep the arrows on signs or road as a correction.
Once there are multiple lanes to choose from to go in a direction, enter LG.
If there are no separate lanes, no signs, no arrows, do not enter LG.
If there are two lanes that turn the same way, you can enter them.
If arrows have not been applied to the road surface or signs in all directions, this will have to be done in WME. Lanes cannot be left empty.
Lanes that 'normal' traffic cannot use, such as public transport, are not yet supported and can therefore not be indicated yet, unless the intersection has already been adapted for this.
For the application of Lane guidance for rush-hour lanes, if the rush-hour lane is on the left, we include that rush-hour lane in the number of lanes, and if the rush-hour lane is on the right (usually the emergency lane) it becomes not included in the lane indication.
We are not going to make any intersection adjustments for the time being to make the LG work.

Wrong save results in no display in the app and a gray area in the WME. Currently it is quite common that saved LG is not displayed afterwards. This could possibly be another bug in WME. You may also see the color turn gray if you slide the card away without saving the change immediately.
