South Holland South Safety Region
There are additional agreements made with the South Holland South Safety Region (VRZHZ). These editor accounts all have VRZHZ in their name and from the
VRZHZ is Ronald Dekker (@Ro-VRZHZ on Slack) the central point of contact.
The safety region has integrated Waze into their alarm application. Via a
notification they are sent directly to the incident address using Waze. Correct navigation
for the priority vehicles is therefore very important to them.
Important for VRZHZ are closures. They have direct contact with the various contractors
contacts. Based on this information, they set specific closures that are possible
deviate from public sources such as Melvin. So if there is a difference between
a closure in WME and a source like Melvin, you should leave the closure
as is. If in doubt, please contact Ronald (Ro-VRZHZ) via Slack.
What differs from the standard working agreements in the Netherlands is that they have segments
cut up for closures. Usually only an entire segment is closed, but
as a result, a priority vehicle may have to make an unnecessary detour. They cut
well in time for the closure of a segment so that the Map-update is on time. So if you
see additional nodes on a segment that were created by a VRZHZ account,
then this is a conscious action based on these working agreements.
It has also been agreed that for segments that are one-way traffic, they will be segments
temporarily make it two-way with, in the closed direction, a restriction for regular
traffic and an exception for their priority vehicles (taxi vehicle type). Also this
is to get their vehicles to the right destination as quickly as possible.
If you have any questions about these agreements, please contact DutchDirt or ArnoB01,
who made the agreements on behalf of the LCs.
