  • Minor Highways are mostly maintained by local authorities. There is no standard for road naming. We use this road type for through-going traffic or for longer distances connecting cities or towns.
  • Ramps are entrance and exit roads to highways. This road type in Waze has special functions for routing instructions. Only use it when the instruction "_take the exit_" is required. Otherwise, use the same type of road as the incoming or outgoing road type. depending on the instruction needed. See the explanation on Interchanges and other connecting segments for detailed information.
