Freeways:(Lock at L4)

- Principal/National Highways with 1 or 2 digits

Name them Hwy # or Hwy ## respectively.

- Motorways (with 1 digit)

Name them Hwy #

Many National Highways and Motorways also have a common name associated with them. If this name appears on signage or is used by addresses, add the name within parentheses: Hwy <#> (Name)

- Expressways All expressways are toll roads and are controlled by EXAT.

Name them as they are officially named.


Major Highways (Lock at L3)

Secondary Highways in Regions with 3 digits.

Name them Hwy ###


Minor Highways (Lock at L2)

Provincial and Rural Highways/Roads with 4 digit digits.

Provincial Roads just have 4 digits, name these Hwy ####.
