Waze depends on a large and growing volunteer editor community.  To foster growth, Waze encourages users to edit the maps by keeping training requirements to a minimum.   This approach allows anyone who would like to try editing to join the community quickly.

Bypassing training does have side effects on new editors' experience of Waze.  New editors may feel overwhelmed by the maps' complexity and unable to make a difference.  They may not recognize how to use the editing tools and may have trouble finding the information they need. They may need a great deal of interactive support in coming up to speed.  And they will make mistakes.
The purpose of this wiki is to help you understand what about your edits may have needed undoing and to offer you suggestions on where your editing energy could do the most good.
